2019 NCAA March Madness Presale

STORRS, Conn. – The Road to the Final Four® stops in Hartford, Connecticut March 21 & 23, 2019 at the XL Center in Hartford when the University of Connecticut will play host to first and second round men’s basketball tournament games!  Two first-round doubleheader men’s basketball games will take place on Thursday, March 21 with a second-round doubleheader on Saturday, March 23. 

UConn fans interested in purchasing tickets can sign up now for an exclusive presale ticket offer that will begin Wednesday, October 31 at noon and run through November 1.  To sign up, register as an NCAA subscriber online at between now and October 28.  Subscribers will receive a promo code via email to use during the exclusive presale before tickets go on sale to the general public Saturday, November 2.

The first and second round games will mark the return of the tournament to Hartford for the first time in 21 years, as UConn played host to NCAA men’s games at the XL Center in 1983, 1985, 1988, 1990 and 1998. There have been a total of 28 NCAA tournament games played in Hartford.

The UConn men’s team will not be eligible to play its first- and second-round games in Hartford if they are selected to the 2019 field. Teams are not allowed to play at sites where their institution is serving as a host.
